Terms of Service

Welcome to Drum Circle ("we", "us", "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Drum Circle website, web app, and directory (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Who can use the Service

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to use the Service. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement and that you can form a binding contract with us.

2. Your account & username

You are responsible for the activity that happens under your username or account. Choose a username that does not impersonate others, infringe trademarks, or violate our Community Guidelines. We may reclaim or rename accounts that do.

3. Acceptable use

Don't be abusive, hateful, harassing, or sexually explicit in live rooms, voice chat, usernames, or directory listings. Don't try to break, overload, scrape, or reverse-engineer the Service. Don't post content you do not own or have permission to share. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

4. Live audio & voice chat

Live rooms include real-time audio. By joining a room with voice enabled, you consent to your audio being transmitted to other participants in that room in real time. We do not record voice chat unless explicitly stated.

5. Directory listings

Anyone can submit a listing to the Drum Circle Directory for free. Submissions are reviewed by our team before going live. You represent that the information you submit is accurate, that you have permission to list the circle, and that the listing complies with these Terms. We may edit or remove any listing at our discretion.

6. User content & license

You retain ownership of the content you submit (listings, messages, usernames, etc.). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that content as needed to run and promote the Service.

7. Paid features

The Service is currently free during public beta. Paid features may be introduced in the future. We will provide clear pricing and terms before any charges apply.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that events listed in the Directory will take place as posted. Always verify details with the listing organizer.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Drum Circle and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the Service.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for any reason, including violation of these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the site. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
